Special Interest Groups and Local CAT Networks

ACAT supports a number of local groups for members and also Special Interest Groups (SIGs) around a range of topics or client groups.  Some of these are for members only, some welcome Friends of ACAT, and some are open more widely.

Local and Special Interest Groups help members to stay connected with others in their geographical area or in the same field of work. Each group has their own programme or meetings and events.  They may host speakers or involve network members to lead a meeting on a peer-to-peer basis.

Many of the activities of local groups and SIGs are suitable to add to ACAT members' portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).  You can ask about certificate sof attendance or other ways to confirm your involvement.
