I would be interested to hear if therapists have feedback re clients’ expectations of therapy in terms of the info available to them on the website?
2 of my current private patients have, in my view, unrealistic expectations in that they expect quick change in the way they operate once engaged in the therapy process. Both of them explained that the message they got from the website was that it would give them a quicker outcome than other therapies! Of course it could be argued that high expectations is one of their procedures but I am interested in their very similar impressions.
