A Brief Guide to ACAT's Training Committee

ACAT's Training Committee is responsible for developing a national strategy for all levels of CAT training and accreditation - practitioner, psychotherapy, supervisor, foundation, and skills.

It approves, monitors, and audits the national training programme and ensures that national standards of training are maintained.  The Training Committee  approves the establishment of new courses.  It also develops and refines policies such as the Code of Ethics for Training and Supervision.

The Training Committee meets at least three times a year.
